I'll Be Back :)

Nope...no baby yet.  Just been busy tying up all the loose ends and enjoying the nice weather and fun birthday parties and church carnival and Easter weekend with family and friends and....the list goes on.
I will be back with pictures from the fun but I just saw this on Pinterest and had to share.  I love the look in Whitney's eyes when she really feels listened to and like I am hearing her.  Its such an easy, quick parenting "technique" that makes such a HUGE impact on children.  Look your kids in the eyes when they are talking to you.  Make them feel that what they are saying is special and important and means something to you.  Take the time to get down on their level and see the excitement or fear or worry or happiness in their little eyes so they dont feel brushed off or left to deal with their emotions alone.
No other reason to post tonight....just wanted to share this :)
