Haircuts and Happy Memories

My friend Kathy is the most fabulous hair stylist around :) I am determined to grow my hair super long "one last time" before I am "too old" to sport the long 'do, so I didnt want to cut any length off my hair.  But I wanted SOMETHING different to change things up a bit.  Kathy cut my bangs super chunky and fun and thn put a bunch of layers all around.  I looove it!
My hair is ten times lighter than it was! No more heavvvvy hair weighing me down :) The bangs MIGHT be a little bit "Justin Beiber-ish" when they fall the wrong way, but Im working on taming them and making them cute and trendy instead of Beiber Fever-ish.
On Saturday, Eric's Dad, sister, brother-in-law, brother, sister-in-law, and all of our nieces and nephews met us at the Magic Kingdom for some family bonding at the most magical place on earth!
All the kids were sooooo well-behaved (with a momentary meltdown from a tired Whitney....nothing Dean's ice cream couldnt cure) and really made the day even more enjoyable! Eric and I got to ride Thunder Moutain together since Whitney loved hangin' with Aunt Lynzie, Corbyn, and Callie. Thanks Lynz!

We wish Daniel (Eric's bro) couldve made the trip with us, but aside from missing him and the other brothers, we really enjoyed our time together as a family.  No one had any issues or drama or schedules or expectations.  We all just made our way to the rides and shows at a nice pace that didnt add any pressure or tension.  Just spent time enjoying and laughing and catching up.  Sooo nice!

Gary and some of his Daughters.  We missed you Christina!
Whitney was excited to ride Buzz Lightyear with her Papa!!
And how funny are these two cousins!? They share a love for all things Toy Story, and Whitney was looooving that he wanted to hold hands :)

You shouldve seen ALL of us whipping out all of our cameras and cell phones to capture Papa with two of his tiniest fans :)

                                                                 We love the people-mover!!!

Whitney was loving Corbyn's Toy Story t-shirt :) They proudly named all the characters :)

Eric got yelled at for standing in the boat on "Pirates of the Carribbean" :) He was just trying to capture a family memory!!

The tea cups are DEFINITELY our family favorite! :) Whitney lets Eric spin it SUPER fast!

Look at that Callie-Bear :) LOOVE her! She is the HAPPIEST baby and reminds me of Whitney in sooo many ways :) Her mommy always dresses her super cute, too :)

And on Sunday after church and some lunch, Whitney took a snooze in her favorite spot on the porch:

She was having so much fun with all of her toys outside in the nice weather! She realized that the ottomans open up, and while struggling to lift the top she exclaimed, "Daddy! Tweasure map inside! Tweasure!!"  I dont know WHERE she gets this stuff!? We do not discuss treasure, treasure maps, treasure chests, or any type of treasure on a regular basis. She has an amaaaazing imagination for someone who isnt even two yet!

"Mommy, wook!! Heart tweasure!!" (there are hearts on the towel)

So of course, what is the next logical step once one has removed allllllll the beach towels from the ottoman??

Hop in!!

Isnt she beautiful!?

"Daddy, bury me! Bury the tweasure!"

"Uh oh! Where'd Whitney go!??"
"I in hee-yuh! I hee-yuh, Mommy!"

Such a fun weekend :)

And while these are just cell phone pics, I had to include them because the memory will fade if I dont capture it here. :(  After some shopping with "Aunt Summy" (Summer) today, Whitney and I came home for some lunch (and some allergy meds...poor girl's nose is a faucet!) Yesterday the allergy med made her soooo sleepy! Today, she was hyperrrrr after a small dose! We laid on the floor in her room reading her favorite books over and over.  She was cracking UP!

Doesnt she look about 6 years old here!?

She got progressively sillier and sillier as the book went on and as the med settled in!

Pretty, pretty princess :) LOVE this pic of her:
