Pedicures and Basketball

Mac, Whitney, and I kicked off our shoes........
....and got pedicures last week! I painted Whitney's toes a few weeks ago, and those little piggies looked SOOO cute, Mac decided to treat us to a girlie morning of pampered toes :)
I dont know who had the most fun!! Mac, Whitney, and I looooved it, but the girls who work at the nail salon thought Whitney was pretty cool and were having fun snapping our pics and painting flowers on Whitter's toes.
Whitney LOVED the warm water in the tubs.  We only had to remind her not to splash a few times and she was sooooo good while getting her feet buffed and her nails painted!
I picked pink polish for her and then the nail girl put a teeeeensy white flower on her big toes :)
My mom and I laughed at how we were WAAAAAY over two years old when we had our first pedicures. :) Whitney was so well-behaved and really makes things so much fun.  I wasnt sure if she'd let a stranger touch her feet, but she looooved it! We may have created a monster! haha

I love sleeping beauty pictures :) That is a new book from Target's "dollar spot".  She "read it" to herself before falling asleep.

On Saturday, my Clemson Tigers basketball team played #1-ranked UNC.  It was a realy nail-biter, and I dont really even love college basketball.  It went into overtime and had me yelling at the TV and almost falling off the treadmill as I watched and ran at the same time.
Alas, my beloved Tigers lost to those Tarheels, but Whitney and I agreed that they were just getting warmed up for their upcoming chance at the Big Dance.
When I put her shirt on, Whitney yelled, "Go Tiger Paws!" haha close!
She grabbed (yet another) dollar spot book as I was trying to snap a gazillion pics.  She points to the letters and then names the coordinating objects.  So fun!
She looks 6 here. :(
She was looking out the window in her bedroom and gasped really loud saying, "HHUUUUUU!!!!!! Mommy, WOOOOK! Wook! A Wizard!!!"  I looked out the window but did not see a wizard OR a lizard, so when I asked her "What color is the lizard?", she said, "He purple!!" So we looked outside for a purple lizard/wizard and talked about what he was doing outside her window.  She has such an AMAAAZING imagination for a kid who isnt even two years old yet!
See how her hair is longer in the back and shorter on the sides? Remember how I cut it last month? Well, yeah, I cut it again last night.  I evened it all out and made it that one, short length all the way around.  It looks soooooo cute!! She is napping now, or I'd post a pic...but trust me.  Its freakin CUTE!.  (Even if she does look about 12 years old now.)
So last night when he got home from work, Eric asked, "Whitney, did Mommy cut your hair again?"
And without missing a beat, Whitney replied, "Yes - where your hair Daddy??"
LOL!
And seriously.  SERIOUSLY!?!? How cute is this!???? My brother sent this to Whitney last week. Sooooo cute!
We are getting all packed up for a trip to the Dominican Republic with my parents and brother.  I wouldnt normally let that info fly on the internet, but A) I invited you all here and know you in some way or another, and trust that you wouldnt break into my home and rob us blind and B) Eric's Uncle Eddie is staying in our house for the next week to take care of (our attack dog) Bailey, so God Bless YOU if you try to break into my house while Uncle Eddie is on the scene. :)
So while I will likely not be blogging while we are beachin' it, be prepared for some fabulous pics when we get back to the States! :)
