KatMandoooo 2012 (Round One)

I have a LOT to catch up on! KatMandooo 2012 (round one)...the Science Center and some time with Papa....the hottest day on Earth and we spent it at Disney World.....and some great time with Grandparents and Great Grandparents!  Not to mention all the exciting new things Grady is up to!
Let's get started with KatMandooo!
Mandy and I have affectionately dubbed our time together as "KatMandooo", and I love that my iphone recognizes the made-up word, our friends and family refer to us as 'katmandooo' and our daughters are beginning a very similar friendship that will hopefully last a lifetime and develop into "BrookNey" or "WhitLyn" in years to come :)
The Millhollins arrived from Illinois on a Thursday afternoon when Eric had a meeting at work.  We werent sure if they should rent a car or if I would be able to borrow my BIL's van to go pick them up at the airport, but I knew there had to be a way to avoid trucking our two kids to the airport and/or having to spend money on a rental.  Ah HA! We dropped one of our cars off at the airport parking garage the night before their arrival and left the key in the console.  We triple checked to make sure we left the driver-side door unlocked and then waited for them to drive to our house the next day.  Great planning, right? Wellllllll....they arrived the next day, opened the car, popped the trunk and went to load it up, and BY ACCIDENT, Brooklyn closed the driver's side door....and the doors locked....with the keys still inside.  WHOOPS!!
So there I was, at home with two kids and no extra set of keys to that car and no way to get all four Millhollins into my car with three car seats, a booster seat, and three adults.
Thankfully, Eric's meeting was done and he was able to get out to the airport with his extra set of keys and get the KatMandooo show on the road :)
The girls wasted NO TIME getting down to business:
The weekend flew by too fast, as usual, but we all had so much fun!  Whitney is in LOVE with Easton and wants her Grady to be just like him :)  He IS the happiest baby on the planet.  He had an ear infection and youd NEVERRR know it.  He was so happy :)

I think Grady was paying close attention because the week after they left, Grady sorta perked up and started loving life like Easton does :)

Youd never know that there is such an age difference between Brooklyn (turns six TODAY!!) and Whitney (3).  Brooklyn plays SOOO nicely with Whitney and really includes her in everything.  These girls adore each other and it melts my heart :)

Whitney was SOOO excited to have a sleepover on the pull-out couch in the playroom!

Arent they sweet!?

We had the brilliant idea of sending the Daddies to Disney World with the girls while the Mommies went to lunch and hit the outlets :) See why KatMandooo is so awesome!?

I am bummed to report that we have not ONE picture of all four kids together :(

The Daddy-Daughter day at Magic Kingdom was declared a giant success! They did every single age-appropriate ride and show in the park and wore the girls out!

We enjoyed a great day at the beach after Matt captured some great family pics for us!  Whitney was LOOOVING Easton :)

And, of course, within minutes of leaving the beach, all four kids were sound asleep :)

Dont the boys look THRILLED to be headed to the outlets with their mommies!?

The mommies and boys had a great sushi (and similac) lunch!

The best girls in the world!!

HAPPY KIDS!!!

And you didnt miss it....there was not ONE pic of me and Mandy together :( NOT ONE! So disappointing. The good news? They are coming back!!! In November, the Millhollins are returning to run the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon with us! We will be SURE to get TONS of pics that weekend :)
