I have 6 follies. Three are big (16, 15,15) and three are smaller (12, 11, 11). My nurse said that the doc would probably cancel me because I have too many follies for an IUI (greater chance of higher order multiples..sextuplets? notsomuch). I told her that the doc said that I have a lot of empty follicles (he said this at the last IVF) and that some of my follies have eggs, but some dont. She said "oh yeah, that's right! I am sure you will go ahead then...but I bet he will give you the 'multiples speech'." I can deal with that!!
So, I am supposed to get a call this afternoon with my b/w results and let me know if I am supposed to stim some more, take my trigger, or stop everything. I am excited! It sounds like we have some good follies in there! The nurse said she wanted me to take it easy (no cleaning, no vacuuming, no strenuous activity, no s-e-x, and no exercise), since my follies are big and tender and about to pop. I will keep you posted as I hear more from the doc this afternoon. For now, it looks like I will trigger tomorrow night and have the IUI Sunday morning. :)
YEAH! I am VERY excited!
Even if I get canceled, at least we know I RESPOND to the meds!!
Eric gets home tomorrow...FINALLY! I hate when he travels. Well, I like it the first night he is gone because I can spread out in the bed with the mutt and not worry about sharing :)....but the 2nd night stinks, and the 3rd night is no fun. Bailey laid by the front door alllllll night last night...then when I was ready for bed, he laid at the bedroom door and wimpered. I let him out 3 times and each time he just stared at the driveway where Eric's car usually sits. :( I hope our kids like me as much as my dog loves Eric!!!
