Our 2008 Miracle :)

OK, So I had planned to post the usual "New Year's Resolutions"..but this news was too good to keep inside! :)
MY CYST IS GONE! 100% gone. Nothing left. Zero signs it was even there three weeks ago. AMAZING! The nurse was so surprised, she asked another nurse to come in to make sure she wasnt missing something! The two nurses were stunned and very happy for us! :) Eric and I said it is our miracle :)
See, Eric and I have gotten in the habit of praying together each morning. I love it, and we both agree that our days start out on the right foot. Well, my ultrasound was at the crack of dawn yesterday, and we both had to be at work right after the appointment. So we drove seperately and didnt have time to pray together at home. We improvised! :) I called his cell phone and we prayed via cell phone on our way down I-4. :) Eric's prayers are so inspiring. He never forgets anyone...even Baileydog! And of course he is always sure to say "thank you" for the MANY blessings we have been given. Yesterday morning Eric prayed for my ovary to be healed, and for my cyst to be gone...I knew it would be a miracle if this prayer came true. Afterall, the day before I had shooting pains and knew the cyst was there..maybe not BIG, but still THERE. So we walk into the doc's office and as the nurse enters the room I tell her that "I would not be surprised if the cyst is still there..." and Eric "tsk"ed me. :) He called me "Doubting Thomas" and "oh ye of little faith"....and I knew he was right. I cant pray for a miracle one minute, and then fill the room with doubts and negative thoughts the next minute. So imagine my surprise when the ultrasound screen lit up with a beautiful, healthy ovary. MY beautiful, healthy ovary. :)

So needless to say, 2008 is off to a great start! :) And I have learned my lesson.....never again will I doubt that miracles can happen to me. I have proof that God DOES answer prayers in His time.

Our next steps:
*AF started today
*Saturday thru Wednesday I take 150iu of Follistim 6-8pm.
*Thursday, 1/10 @ 8:15am, ultrasound to check follicles
*determine from there what meds to take, when to trigger shot, and when IUI will take place
