New Furniture and things to look forward to...

Eric and I did a little retail Therapy on Saturday :) We are the proud owners of fanTAStic leather couches :) See link below:

I am SOO excited :)

On another good note: Eric and I did some basic 1st grade math and realized the following:
-there are 21 active pills in a BCP pack
- I am taking 2 pills each night
-therefore, I only have about 10 days of BCPs to take :)
DUH...i guess the whole "we have to take a MONTH of BCPs" was overwhelming and annoying. But, it's really only 10 days. So, I have to call to set up my next ultrasound appointment for early next week. I honestly dont have high hopes that the cysts will be gone completely, but I am praying they will be smaller and more manageable. I have had some pretty significant pain today and last night, so maybe they are popping???

I am also looking forward to work each day. I have always liked the work we do at the center, but now I get to work with the kids more. It is great! Say some prayers that more kids continue to enroll! :) We are doing the right things, so hopefully we get a rush of new enrollees soooooon!
I am gonna brag about our teachers for a minute. :) We had a student, R., who came to us in October. He is a second grader (my favorites :)), and he tested in the 1st percentile in Reading COmprehension. When I gave him his 50 hour Interim Test last night, R. was in the 99th percentile!!!!! HE LOVES reading now and is SUPER motivated at school. I am going to meet with his teacher and mom tomorrow, and I cant wait. I have mom the results last night and she CRIED she was so happy! :) They both walked out on Cloud 9. We have many other success stories like that, but this one came right in time :)

So...lots going on, and lots to keep me busy, and lots to look forward to. My chin is up and my glass is 1/4 full...(not quite 1/2 yet..)...but I am taking it one day at a time :) THANK YOU for your prayers and support! :)

Kat, LOVE the furniture!! That's close to exactly what I want, when we get new furniture again! Excellent choice in getting the leather, you can just wipe things off. It will come in very handy when you've got little feet running around and making messes for you. :)

What a great story about R. So glad he's doing so well!!

Have a great weekend!!
