Well, I officially LOVE my new job. The coworkers, the kids, the owners, the director, the hours, the uniform....everything. LOVE IT. It feels so nice to be NEEDED and APPRECIATED again at work. THe director needed me in several different places today (toddler, preK, and jr. preK, then 2 infant rooms)..i loved every room. I learned sign language AND some Japanese today! :) The director was sooo appreciative and complimentary, and i loved the kids. I worked with babies as young as 14 weeks, and kids as old as 4. SUCH a great day. And they asked me to work overitme, so I got "time and a half" for 2 extra hours tonight! I would NEVER have worked EXTRA hours for my dad! I know the novelty will wear off, but i just love being around the kids and in classrooms again!
Eric and I are off to walk the dog and then I am CRASHING!
