Just so this blog isnt ALLLL about ONLY Whitney, I'll share some pics from today's naptime. At first I was sad that Whitney missed nature at it's finest, but then I realized she probably would have screamed and scared the bird away, thus leaving a half-dead fish in our yard....so it worked out for the best. (for me....not for the fish....)
Whitney's new favorite book is "I Like Myself" and its SOO fun to read it to her over and over and over :) She has favorite pages that make her laugh hard, and I just LOVE that she brings us books to read to her ALLLLL day long :)

After we were done outside, Whitney decided to play with her new Little People Zoo from her Uncle Jamey. She was very quiet and serious while she looked at and studied each animal. Mac and Gramps taught her how to put things into a bag/bucket/box and then dump it out...and then put them back in the bag/bucket/box again...over and over and over. So that is what we did right before nap time.
Step 1: Dump the bag-o-animals
Step 2: Analyze each animal carefully.
Step 3: Place the animal back in the bag.
Step 3: Repeat.

Oh Kat she gets more Beautiful every day! I have to say I AM SO JEALOUS of her hair! She has more hair than Belah and Belah is FOUR! ha ha ha Belah has also lost all of her curls :-( Big smooches to Lil Miss Whitney!
cute!! We have those same baskets on the boys' shelves too! Yeah, I know, strange observation. And you are right, in that one picture she does look much older!
