We had some Disney fun with our favorite neighbors, and some grillin' out with some family and some marshmellow roasting with some friends, and some long walks and park days and nothing that HAD to get done or NEEDED to be accomplished immediately. Nothing fancy, but definitely appreciated and nice.
As I just uploaded pictures, I noticed that we didnt get ONE family pic the whole week :(...but we did get a few pics during all the fun :)
Whitney rockin' the binky in "Belgium" at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival :) We looove us some Belgium peeps!
Wish Belgium Mandy, Matt, and Brooklyn were enjoying "Belgium" with us here in the States....
We were trying to get Whitney to look at the camera and say "MANDY!" .... nosomuch.
She had a little too much fun :) She slept through Morocco and parts of Japan
Summer, Mike, and the boys joined us for Food and Wine, and to take pics with the mice :)
Just realized these pics are out of order. :( This was when Whitney started pointing to the Epcot ball and yelling "BALL!" Then we asked her what color it was..."WHITE BALL!" and then, out of no where, "BIG WHITE BALL!" :) She's putting more and more words together every day!
THis will be even funnier in 16 or 17 years :)
Yesterday, Whitney helped me straighten up the house after a week of "staycationing". She loooves helping...even saying "HEP! I HEP!" while lending a hand :)
This morning, Whitney was especially sleepy. She woke up at 8:40am (much to Daddy's dismay, since he had to leave for work before getting to see his little girl), asked for "Milk? Mickey Mouse?" and then hung out on the floor for a whole episode. She rarely lays around or even sits still!
I got her breakfast, got her all ready for the park, and left her in the family room to go get myself ready. By the time I did a quick change and brushed my teeth, she was back on the floor with blankie, bear blanket, and baby (all new staples who go many places with us), cuddled up with her shoes on!
She found one of her newborn binkies and was obsessed with it for about an hour. Now? She doesnt even notice I put it away :)
After her morning snuggles, we headed to the park to hang with these guys! As soon as Summer puts them down, the run in opposite directions :) Kept us on our toes and sweating buckets!
I was hoping it would be nice enough for long sleeves, but I was wrong....by the time we got movin' in the sun, poor Whitney was sweaty, too. Wishful thinking, I suppose. Its still tank top weather here!
Corraling the boys :)
Self-portrait :)
It is near impossible to get a pic of her staying still. She is constantly in motion!
The only pic of the three toddlers in one picture :) What's that they say about nailing jello???
Since we failed to get any family pics or any decent pics of us with our favorite little girl, we promised each other we would go to the pumpkin patch this weekend....where there are SURE to be lots of smiles and good times! Remember last year??:
