*I wrote the first part of this blog on Wednesday night, but when I went to upload pictures, Blogger told me I had run out of space...? So I added some extra picture storage to my blogspot. It took 24 hours and another rescue mission from Mandy for it to kick in.....and around here, a lot can happen in 24 hours! So I am adding the rest of the week's blog posts to the original post from Wednesday....it'll be like a little Weekly Review for you :) You're welcome in advance for all the cuteness you are about to witness...*
Whitney and I enjoyed a great day yesterday :) Nothing special...no trips to the Magic Kingdom. No trips to the park. No shopping sprees or big playdates or monumental moments. Just a regular 'ol Wednesday for a Mommy and her daughter.
We started with a long walk around the neighborhood with our favorite neighbor and her handsome twins. When Eric asked Whitney "Who did you go on a walk with today?", she responds "Da boyss!" We love them :)
After the walk, Whitney and I caught a glimpse of a lizard out the back window. She kept trying to open the back door, so I grabbed the camera and the three of us (Bailey tagged along) headed out for some fun checking things out in the back yard. :)

| When you stick your face up to the screen.......... |
| .......you sometimes get smudgy-face :) |
| There he is!!! |
| She thought he was hysterical :) |
| We dont have many pics together lately, so I used the reflection of the window to snap a quick one :) |
After a nice afternoon nap (her, not me!),
Whitney Minnie Mouse, Eric, and I headed to meet my parents and G.G. for the annual Halloween Costume Party dinner at their club. It started out a little hectic, but cute...and then grew to MASS CHAOS and extreme parenting. The "DJ" had some interesting attempts at taming the 50-ish children of all ages and sizes, all in costume, while encouraging them to do the limbo, the monster mash, and a toilet-paper-mummy contest. Most of the kids were sugar-high and off the WALL, wanting to
dance wriggle and jolt and bop and flail across the dance floor. This was all fun to watch from our table with a glass (or 3) of wine and a yummy meal. In a few short years, I am sure
I Eric will be chasing our ballerina or Strawberry Shortcake or Wonder Woman under the limbo stick and attempting to nicely discourage the 9, 10, and 11 year old boys from even looooking at our daughter, let alone trying to "dance" near her. yikes.

| Mac showed her Minnie Mouse off to all the waitresses and hostesses :) |
| Showing Mac and GG her new shoes! |
| This little girl and her best friend were dressed "as babies!" They had diapers and bibs on, and drank from bottles and had binkies on binky clips...too funny. They looooved Whitney and dragged her onto the dance floor with them within moments of her arrival :) |

| Chair dancing... |
| Alllllll wound up after two cups of..... |

| ICE CREAM!!! |

| Almost all the kids....Whitney was being wrangled by Eric in another area of the party. She was pretty much DONE at this point in the evening :) |
| Mrs. H and her grandson with Mac and Whitney :) THe two kids arent really sure what to think of each other in their silly costumes :) haha |

Mac, Mommy, and Whitney
Overall, it was a lot of fun to laugh and get a glimpse of our future with a little girl. (We are getting a lock for her bedroom door TODAY.)
On Friday, Summer and I decided to bring the kids to Epcot for some more food and wine festival people watching :) Summer's mom and stepdad joined us for a FUN day with GORGEOUS weather! The kids were AWESOME, and the people-watching was the best around :) Of course, we had to stop and see some our favorite characters along the way :) |
| Not sure what this new face is all about, but she's perfecting it :) |
| Not sure Mickey pictures will ever get old :) |

| SOMEDAY we'll get a great pic of the boys with the characters....for now? They are more interested in checking out the room and scurrying away from the cameras! :) |
We had such a great day, and feel so blessed to be able to have playdates at the happiest place on earth, any time we want :) We have a bunch of friends heading to EPCOT this Tuesday night to see BoyzIIMen play the Food and Wine Festival....sooo. excited. :) haha
Today, after waiting and waiting and waiting for the weather to cool off, we finally had to bite the bullet and head to the pumpkin patch. It just doesnt FEEL like Fall when it is literally 90 degrees out, and you break a sweat just getting the mail. But we couldnt wait any longer, seeing as how Halloween is tomorrow, so we dressed in our "Fall" clothes, grabbed the cameras, and headed out.
Lesson learned. Dont wait til the day before Halloween to go to the pumpkin patch. You will only find wart-covered, moldy, gross pumpkins sprinkled in with 3 or 4 decent-sized pumpkins with giant gashes or chunks in them. Soooo...we'll be grabbing our pumpkins at Walmart this year, but snagged a few teeny pumpkins, just the right size for the Whitterbug, today at the pumpkin patch near our house.
| Warty and Slashed/gashed.....ewww. But Whitney sure was CUTE! :) |
| She kept saying "BIG pumpkin! BIG pumpkin! BIG pumpkin!" :) |
| love our pumpkinface :) |
| "WIDDLE pumpkin! WIDDLE pumpkin! WIDDLE pumpkin!" (Widdle = little) |
| ignore the nasty, warty pumpkins in the background...focus on the cute pumpkin up close :) |
| She was reaching for the pumpkins Gramps was tossing in the air behind Mac and the camera :) |
| When tossing pumpkins behind the camera was no longer working, Daddy and Gramps decided to start playing "catch the pumpkin" to get Whitney to laugh....it worked! Daddy tossing the pumpkin to Gramps = hysterical :) |
| How cute is SHE!??!?! |
| "I would like to take all of them home with me, please....thank you." |
| I suggested "Whitney why dont you count the pumpkins?!"...so she started..."One...........Twoooo...........Freee............FOO- rrrr .......Figh................Six........Seden..............Eight..........Nine..............Ten............Ee-wed-en........twAY-uulve........TEEEEN!" |
| Pumpkins need hugs, too :) |
"Whitney, do you LOVE that pumpkin?"
"YESSS!" |
And what a difference a year makes:
