It doesnt happen often, but every once in a while I actually get to eat a warm meal and have adult conversation in the presence of my husband. No kids. No whining or crying. No interruptions. Just fun.
Last Saturday night, we got one of those evenings and we didnt just go to any restaurant or movie. We went to THE Daytona International Speedway.
And see that car whizzing by us in the background? Yeah. We got in that car. And we went really fast. Around the track. And it was awesome.

Eric was a happy camper :)
And an added bonus? The proceeds from the night went to a local boys' ranch that works to help rehab kids who have addictions. And one of my bestest besties' fiancee was the DJ for the night!
And to make the night even better, Eric's Uncle Eddie and Aunt DeeDeeDeeDee came with us!
There were other cool people there, too. Like the former coach of the Orlando Magic.
