Uncle Jay's Christmas Vacation

I thought I had already posted all of our Christmas adventures, but the fun continued as my brother stayed through the week!
Every Christmas when Jay visits, my parents take us all to the MOST delicious meal at Capital Grill.  Eric and I seriously talk about this meal a few times throughout the year and really, realllllllly look forward to it.  Yummy steaks, great wine, and family? Doesnt get better.

Of course we had to attempt the family pic before we headed out the door....

And the very first pic turned out decent so we moved on to Whitney's favorite way to take pictures:

I guess I always assume it goes without saying, but can I just say how much a LOOOOVE the people in this picture?!?

Both of our kids absolutely light UP when they see their Mac and Gramps.  My kids are blessed in many ways and with amazing family near and far, but I truly can not think of anyone who has better grandparents than my kids.  Mac and Gramps go above and beyond to make these kids smile.

Love.

And I have to say...Eric and I have the best kids on the planet.  Its my blog and I intend to brag. Seriously. These kids are so well behaved.  Whitney sat nicely, ate her meal, and engaged in legit conversation with everyone at the table.  Grady didnt squeal or scream or cry and was happy eating and playing with all the toys we packed for the night.  It makes our lives so much easier and more enjoyable when we dont have to worry about our kids melting down or losing control in public.  I know it wont always be this way, so Im especially grateful for two super well-behaved kids who allowed us to enjoy this night out with my family.

The best parents and grandparents on the planet. Ever. For real.

The next day we all headed to Disney for some magic! Grady and I made a quick stop at the pediatrician before we headed to see the Mouse and learned that he had chest congestion but no ear infection, so with Doctor's okay, we headed down to Epcot!

Have I mentioned how much I LOOOVE this stroller?!  Whitney is pretending, but Grady was fast asleep!

We had a great time and made it all the way around the world with two happy kids and four happy adults :)

Of course we had to stop to see our pal Mickey and his pup Pluto!  Grady was right at home in Pluto's arms :)

We all had a lot of fun and laughs, and its always one of my FAVORITE parts of Jay's visits!

All good things must come to an end, though, and Uncle Jay had to head home.  It was another great visit filled with great memories and laughs and fun for the grown-ups and the kids. :)
Thanks Uncle Jay!!!

Cant wait to see him at the kids' birthday celebration in April!
