Our Funny Valentines!

Our Valentine - 2011

Our Valentine (and one on the way!) - 2012

And Our Biggest Valentine - 2013
This is the last year we will get to wear the cute heart shirt, but I LOVE getting more than one year of use out of something I personalized :)

My parents spoiled our valentines with all kinds of fun candy and goodies!

I wish we could get a good pic!

Even Bailey wanted to get in on the Mac and Gramps laughter :)

This little girl was VERY excited to bring her valentines to her classmates :)

While Eric brought Whitney to the store to pick out some pretty flowers and a card for me, I spent the evening weeding out the "naughty" and "dirty" candy hearts from her class valentines.  I am sure a stray "Too Sexxy" or "Youre HOTT" made it's way into the three-year-olds' buckets, but at least I tried :)

And when I saw these bass valentines, I snatched up a few for her teachers :)

Whitney really couldnt care less about the candy.  She just loved that her friends took the time to give her something special.  I love that Whitney doesnt care if a gift or surprise treat is elaborate or expensive or big.  She just loves that someone thought of her.

And these two crack me up.  And that's the best gift I have ever been given :)

And on rare occasions, Whitney will take a break from avoiding the camera and decides she wants a photo shoot thats all about HER....and I eat her up!

Seriously, I know I didnt have anything to do with it, but how beautiful is this kid?!

And I love when she gets in these super silly, belly-laughing moods....I wish I had a video camera rolling, just so I can capture that sound and replay it over and over.

XOXO

And when both of them start belly laughing at the same thing??? Forget it.  Im a ball of laughter and happy tears.

For this month's chair pictures, I may or may not have promised Whitney a small piece of valentine candy if she cooperated and helped wrangle her brother.

Guess that valentine candy DOES come in handy...because this chick did such an awesome job, we took all these pics (and more) in about 3 minutes and all three of us were belly laughing the whole time.

I never want to forget that sound.

I am the most blessed girl in the world.  I dont need flowers or candy or diamonds.  I dont want to fight crowds to eat at a special restaurant. I get so much more than that every day.  I get to be a mommy to two of the most amazing little people I know.  And I get to be married to my best friend for the rest of my life.  That's way cooler than candy and flowers. :)

I recently found a sign online that was simple. White background, big black painted letters:
"Keep Life Happy"
And I immediately knew I had to have it. Im going to try to make it myself, but if that doesnt work, Im gonna  buy it.  Because its my wish for our kids.  I want them to always be as happy as they are right now.  When things dont seem fun anymore, or when someone hurts their feelings, or when life seems difficult, I want them to be able to keep life happy.  Find the happiness.  Its not always easy and sometimes you have to work really hard to find it, but there really is "happy" in almost any situation.

And I pray and hope and wish that they always find the happy.

Life is good.  Keep it happy. :)
