I love and appreciate these words so much. Really. We hear them often, and have been listening to these words since we started trying to conceive in 2005. We know that prayer is powerful, and that God wants us to be happy, and that prayer changes things, enhances things, fixes things, and makes us stronger. We really apprecaite prayers for us, so please keep them coming :)
But I also need to ask that, when you take a second to pray for us and our adoption process, please remember to pray for our child's first mom. The woman who carries our baby in her body, who feels him/her kick, and sees the heartbeat. She needs prayers more than we do. We have the easy part in this situation! We get to complete our family! We get to be parents! We get to raise a child! But somewhere, there is a woman who will miss those things and who won't know her own child the way we will. Yes, she will love that child so much that she will be willing to give that child a chance at more opportunities in life. What a difficult decision she will make. We cant even imagine. So thank you for all of the prayers you have for me and for Eric and for our Baileydog :) We really appreciate them a LOT! Please add our baby's bio-mom, first mom, birthmom, whatever you wanna call her....she needs more prayers than anyone in this situation. :)

Every night this is my prayer. Praying for the birthmom of our child, and all the women who walk into an agency and look through profiles and make this heart wrenching decision. And I also pray for those couples who are waiting for their heart's desire to come true.
Praying for you, Eric, Bailey, your baby and birthmom, whoever she may be. I can't wait to see how God is going to bless your life! :)
