Why is this little girl so happy??
Because she got to spend a TON of time with her G.G. this weekend!! On Friday, Whitney and I went to spend the afternoon with my Grandpa. Whitney lovingly calls him "guh guh" because that's the sound the letters "G.G." make when you're one year old. ("Whitney, what does the letter 'G' say?" "guh!"...put two of 'em together, and you get "Guh Guh")
"Hi, GuhGuh! You wanna share my sippy cup?!"
"Mommy! GuhGuh is so SILLY! He wants my drink!! Maybe we should have a tea party and get this guy a cold beverage so he doesnt steal my sippy..."
"I've got my eye on you, GuhGuh. Dont take my sippy. Im making you some tea!"
She was DETERMINED to carry the cup ON the saucer. It would fall off as she turned to walk to GG, and she would stop, trun around and start over. She must have tried 5 or 6 times before the cup stayed, but she was NOT giving up!
"There ya go, GuhGuh! Now you dont have to steal my sippy cup!"
"Ok..Im gonna go practice this balance trick some more..."
She got SOO excited when she walked without "spilling" any "tea" :)
"Hey GuhGuh, Im gonna take Baybee for a walk...see ya later, alligator!"
"Hey, Guh...all this swimming and balancing and Baybee walking is exhausting in this heat. Im gonna lay here and take a snooze. You in?"
"Nigh nigh."
After leaving GG, we came home to spend some time outside with Daddy. Whitney and Bailey follow Eric around like his shadows.
(Yes, I know its gross...she insists on face-planting windows and screens...i pick my battles.)
Up to somethin'
Okay, I am extremely embarassed to show you the next picture, as it shows just what happens when my dog and my child go to work on a sliding glass door. However, I will put my pride aside in order to share what happens when Daddy walks inside for a moment........these two STALK him. Both of them stand at the door, breathing, licking (yes, both of them), and slobbering (Bailey only...mostly) on the door until Daddy reappears and comes back outside to play.
PS its not always that dirty. promise. really. geesh...embarassing.
On Saturday, Whitney and I were happy to meet up with Eric's Aunt, Uncle, and 3 cousins at EPCOT. Justin is home from Afghanistan for a few weeks, and it was exciting to see the whole family in one spot :) Unfortunately, I didnt take my camera out when we were all together :( But Whitney and I enjoyed riding the Nemo ride twice, and she could have stood at the windows to the aquarium ALLLLL day. She looooooved watching all the fish :)

Whitney and I headed home to clean up and get some dinner with GuhGuh. After dinner, Eric, Whitney, and I went to Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic with Juliet and TK.
Whitney CRASHED halfway through the fireworks show. TK was the lucky cuddle winner :)
After a GREAT night's sleep, we got to celebrate Whitney's boyfriends' First Birthday on Saturday! Their daddy doesnt always dress like a pirate :) Just for their pirate party :)
Today, we enjoyed a relaxing pool day with some of our favorites, Danielle aka"DeeDeeDee" and Eddie. Whitney is getting molars, so she was thrilled to devour a blue ("bwoo!") popsicle by the pool today. She looked like a Smurf by the time the popsicle was gone :)
