Blogging Rocks!

In case the FB messages and the emails and the texts werent enough of a reminder for me to get my bloggin' booty back in shape, our computer handed me a very good reason to continue blogging our life here.  Our trusty laptop bit the dust.  With all of our pictures on it.  THANKFULLY, Eric is a genius and backs up our pictures onto an external hard drive, but we lost all the pics and videos we had added since his last back-up in November. :( Have no fear though!! Because I blogged the HECK outta December, so we should have all of our favorite pics from December right here on my trusty blog :) Hooray!!

And the pics from January are here in the Cliffs Notes post below, or they are still on my camera because I fell into this nice mindset of "If I'm not going to blog them right away, then I dont need to upload them right away".....so see? My blogging absence has actually saved us from losing a gazillion cute pictures from the last 3 weeks :) But this event definitely reminds me to get back into blogging regularly in case our new (pink!) laptop decides to poop out on us, too. 

So...I'll be back....for REAL this time.  But for now, I leave you with the cuteness I found on my cell phone last night:


I took this pic on my cell phone the morning after Whitney came home.  My very first morning as a Mommy, and I just couldnt believe how blessed I was overnight.  My new, sweet, perfect baby girl, my faithful, furry pal Bailey, and the best husband I could ever imagine....all sniggled in bed, ready for Happily Ever After to begin.  All my dreams came true that morning :)



And this is Whitney at about 8 or 9 weeks old.  Those overalls were size "3 months" and they were HUGE on her at the time.  She had just started really liking "bear blanket" and I thought she looked so cute and content laying on our bed.  Now, those overalls are packed away in the attic  the garage, but "Bear Blanket" (who has earned capital letters by now) is still an ever-present part of our daily life. :)

I will be uploading  pics tonight, and MIGHT be back with some cute stuff, but I make no promises.  We have a fun weekend planned with lots of friends and great family time...but now that Ive received an expensive reminder, I will make a greater effort to get back here more often :)
