Some pics from the event:
Whitney's love for Mickey continues to grow. :) We are unfortunately finding ourselves once again in a "stranger anxiety phase" of toddlerhood. I thought we were past this, but I suspect the many unfamiliar faces at holiday gatherings have increased Whitney's awareness of strangers, and made her question family members shes known since birth. However....her love for a complete stranger in a Mickey Mouse costume has never wavered. :)
This was my view at the breakfast table:
The kids (and rambunctious adults) are given maracas to shake during the small parade lead by Mickey and friends. Whitney couldnt wait to shake 'em!
We may have been singing...?
Poor quality pic, but a glimpse of Whitney in the parade through the restaurant. She shook those maracas and danced her way along with the big kids :)
Some Pluto love :)
And as we left the beautiful Polynesian Resort, Whitney got to toss some coins into the fountain and make some wishes :) Our wishes have all come true :)
We were sad to say "see ya later" to Uncle D and Aunt Gerry the next day. They assure us they will be back soon, and they might even join us in the Dominican Republic this March! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family members in our lives, even if it is primarily through texts and emails between visits. Whitney was completely and lovingly spoiled this Christmas, and we could never thank everyone enough. We look forward to every day with Whitney, but she certainly makes the holidays even more fun and exciting!
