So I still have FIVE draft posts in the works, with everything from Christmas fun to a skating rink birthday party. Im posting them in no particular order.
Let's start with some of the fun we had while my brother was here last month!
We started the fun with Whitney's new game, HeadBandz. Event he kid version of the game was a riot!
Whitney is surprisingly good at this game! (or maybe she just memorized ALL the cards in the deck.)
And she wouldnt be Mac if she didnt let the kids open half their Christmas presents EARLY! :)
(side note: Grady was only about 5 days gluten-free at this point, and I am amazed, looking back, at how he has changed since these pics were taken. He still looks like hes in a fog in these pics...NOT ANYMORE!!)
He has played with this Mac truck EVERY single day since he opened it. Its a definite favorite and the first toy he drags out every single morning.
More on this later, but we were all sorta watching the fog lift from Grady as each gluten-free day passed. It was so fun to see him RUNNING on the putting green before everyone teed off!
My parents and Jay and Eric played golf one day, so the kids and I met them for lunch at their club. I love watching them interact with each other, but especially love watching them tag along with my parents and brother.
Always kissing him. ALWAYS.
He only has eyes for Gramps!
And of course, an Uncle Jay visit would not be complete without the traditional ReddiWhip "fight"!
The giggles are amazing.

Whitney has been asking for a Clarice stuffed animal (Rudolph's best friend in the old movies) for two Christmases. We thought it was just a fleeting request since she had JUST seen the movie last Christmas, and surely sure wouldnt really enjoy a stuffed reindeer for longer than 10 minutes.
Alas,...another Christmas arrived, and our little reindeer lover was still asking for a Clarice.
Enter Uncle Jay. And Build A Bear.
Whitney was SOOOO excited to have a date with Uncle Jay, and it was just a bonus that she was getting her long-awaited reindeer friend.
Build A Bear didnt carry Clarice in our closest location this year, but it didnt matter. Because the second Whitney rounded the corner and spotted the giant My Little Pony display in the front of the Build A Bear store, it was all over.
She HAD to have a Fluttershy. HAD to.
And Uncle Jay delivered! He even added the My Little Pony theme song to the hoof...
Whitney made her wish and did a dance and promised to love that Fluttershy forever and ever.
And she was SOOO happy to have her Uncle Jay there!
Fluttershy has been to Show and Tell at school. She has been carried through stores and the mall. She spends days in the car, waiting for me to go back to school to pick Whitney up. And most importantly, Fluttershy has been a snuggle buddy in Whitney's bed every night.

And since we were in the mall with an extra pair of hands to wrangle children, we went shoe shopping for Grady. Not an easy task.
Whitney said, "Ill just be over here....sitting on the garbage can."
Poor, deprived child. ;)
