It went smoothly this morning. Eric's swimmers were decent and, just to be safe, we added a frozen sample to the mix. That gave us 24 million swimmers, 55% rapidly moving, and 40% in "great shape" (morphology). They like samples to be over 10 million, at least 25% motile/moving, and at least 30% with good morphology....so his swimmers look pretty good! The insemination was done by a doc I dont know, but he was really nice and made us laugh. He said "this room is the BOY room...lotsa boys being made in this room....let's hope this is your winning attempt today". The actual procedure has never hurt before, but today I actually felt it in my uterus when he pushed the plunger down and started injecting the swimmers. It didnt hurt, but i could definitely feel something.
So..approximately 5 or 6 eggs plus 24 million swimmers.....ONE of them should take, right!?!? I can relax today and get back to life as usual tomorrow. I will get AF on/around 3/8, but we all know that I will be peeing on a stick LOOOONG before then! THANkS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My birthday is March 23rd..our 3rd anniversary is March 26th...so it would be nice to have another celebration in March! :)
PS...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MELISSA P!!!!!!!!! :) LOVE YOU!
