I have had an overwhelming outpouring of support in the past week, and I cant tell you how much I appreciate your comments, thoughts, prayers, and excitement!
I have had many family members request (or re-request) access to the Baby Bass Blog. Blogspot "only" allows 100 readers for blogs made private, and I need to make sure our family members are able to read and be updated quickly and easily. I hope you understand if you are no longer able to view the blog in the next coming weeks. It is NOT personal! I just need to ensure that our family is first.
Most of you know how to contact me in other places (MM) or via Facebook or email, so please know that I will do my best to keep people posted on any developments in our journey.
Eric and I have debated opening the blog again so others can read and learn from our experience. I know I have learned SOOO Much from other adoption adn fertility blogs, so I would love for someone to come here and learn how "easy" adoption can be! We are both just too concerned with our names being out there. I didnt do a very good job of disguising who we are in real life, so I am afraid we would be too public and available for employers, employees, and sketchy people to view.
PLEASE understand and dont take it personally. I am trying to come up with other options for the future....password protected posts, multiple blogs (family/friends), etc, but I cant find anything that doesnt involve a ton of work and keeping track of my thoughts! Any suggestions are welcome!
I havent deleted anyone yet, but I only have 9 more open spots to invite. So...just a head's up.

I know it would be a HUGE hassle - but you could always transfer your stuff over to a Wordpress account.
That way you can just Password Protect all of the posts and and give out one password to everyone. Just a thought :)
(But if I have to get cut it's okay :) Just keep me in the loop via email!!!!)
tough call. i totally understand that family comes first. i didn't know they put a limit on how many people can view your blog. seems kinda silly. although i know id never be able to fill that many spots. lol.
can't wait to see pictures of everything. ive been waiting all weekend :)
You know you can always delete me from the list...You are always in our prayers whether we read about you or not! :) Plus, we have a lifeline in the name of Amanda and she will keep me updated for sure!

Oh no!! I hope you can figure something out... or that I'm in the top 100! lol ;) I'm so happy to hear your back on good terms with your family though. That's just fantastic!!!

I hope that I am able to keep reading but I also will understand if you have to "cut" me too. You all are in my prayers.
Maybe you *could* do two separate blogs...just c&p what you put in the one for family into the "spillover" blog for the rest of us to read. =)
That said, if you need to cut me from here, that's fine. But if you don't mind, I'd like to add you on FB at that point...

Oh Kat... You know I love and respect you! You making sure FAMILY comes first gives me even more respect for you! I hope to be able to continue to read your blog every day, but if my spot is needed for a family member, I totally respect that! HUGS!
