Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's

Whitney, Bailey, and I went to spend some time with my mom and dad today. Whitney just eats them up! She giggles, coos, and pulls out alllll her tricks. :)
We love living so close to them and I am so happy that Whitney will get to grow up with her Grandparents in her daily/weekly life.
Bailey always loves going over to Grandma and Grandpa's. I was sitting with Whitney this morning and telling her "we're going to see Grandma and Grandpa today! Arent you excited!?" and Bailey came haulin'-butt into the room, jumping and acting crazy. :) He KNOWS his Grandma and Grandpa...he's their first non-human grandkid. :)
Bailey had a rare squirrel sighting at their house today, and he was THRILLED! He was acting like a puppy again! Our new house is in a newer-ish neighborhood, and the wildlife (other than storks!) hasnt really returned to the area since the construction left. But Bailey LOVED chasing squirrels in our old house, so it was fun to see him perk up and take notice (even if he didnt catch it!)



And he's OFFFF!!!

After the squirrel heard him coming, Bailey settled for stalking some lizards for a while. :)


Ok. Ok. I know you didnt really come here for Bailey cuteness...but he's such a good dog I HAD to share his excitement. :)

First, you have to get a load of Whitney's outfit today....One of my besties, Juliet, brought it back from her trip back home to Texas, and it SCREAMS "cowgirl"! :) We had planned to save it for our trip to San Antonio in October, but Whitney is growing soooo fast! She is wearing it now to practice for her visit with Janice and David's lil girl, Allison, at the end of the month. We LOVE our Texas friends!!


After all the drama and stress my family has gone through together in the last two years, it is soooo nice to sit back and watch my parents love on their first grandbaby. :) I am so grateful for that answered prayer...and clearly, Whitney is excited, too!
