Tomorrow, our adoption of Whitney will be finalized in the court/State's eyes. Of course, she has been "ours" in our hearts and minds for quite some time, but this formality is still exciting and monumental. I heard this song at about 4am this morning, when I couldnt sleep. And it just played again at the end of a cheesy reality TV show I was sucked into. I took the time to listen to the words, and it is 100% our song for our Whitterbug. The words are perfect!
We have a busy week/weekend ahead of us! Finalization Wednesday at 9am. Allison, Janice, and David come into town from TX this week. And we have Whitney's dedication at church this Sunday. I know I am repeating myself, but I am just so excited about all the festivities! And I am SOOOOO happy to know that I am recovered (enough) to carry Whitney into the courthouse tomorrow, and stand as her mommy. Forever. :)
Talk about an answered prayer.....
