Friday night we headed 4 houses down to Susana and Tom's house for pizza and drinks. So much fun! The kids had a blast playing and continuing to get to know one another. Whitney even decided to show off her new tricks. Isaac walked away from her when they were playing together, so she decided to just WALK away and follow him! Walking. On her own. What!? Poor Susana was in the middle of talking to me and I completely tuned her out and started silently counting the number of steps Whitney took....FIFTEEN! She's not even nine and a half months yet!? Im not sure if Im more EXCITED or more AFRAID for how our lives are about to get even MORE hectic chasing our toddler around! :)
The kids all went to bed and the adults enjoyed more laughs and drinks, and made plans to get together again soon. LOVE our neighbors :)
I didnt get any pics because we were too busy laughing and having fun :) But here are some cute pics from earlier in the week...isnt this outfit adorable?! Thanks Uncle Mike and Aunt Leigh!! :)
Saturday started off without a plan of attack. It was a nice, sunny day, but kinda windy. We didnt want to go to the park because the wind was rough, but decided to head to EPCOT to do some of the indoor attractions. We had SOOO Much FUN!
We started at Spaceship Earth, which Whitney LOOOOVED! She liked the animatronic parts a lot, but then really laughed and squealed at the lights and the video that showed her cute lil picture in "the future" with Mommy. :)
After Spaceship Earth, we went to the show with Figment, which was cute. And then rode the boat in The Land to see all the vegetables/plants/ and fish they were farming. Very cool! Whitney made friends with the couple in line behind us, and got MANY MANY "ooooh, look how CUTE!" and "Awww, look at her!!" comments :) So proud :)
After The Land, we headed to ride Nemo, and then decided to call it a day. We got home in time to make dinner and relax. THIS is the kind of day I looked forward to for soo many years!
We originally didnt have any plans for the Super Bowl. We dont particularly LOVE either team, but always watch for the commercials and the excitement. After talking to a few people, we decided to have a bunch of people over to our house to watch the game. Like we needed naother excuse to make yummy food and gather good friends and family at our house! We are so blessed!
Whitney was excited to see her Aunt D ("DEE DEE DEE DEE DEEEE!") and her Uncle Eddie, as well as "Aunts" Mandi, Susana, and Ashlee :) She was super excited to get more time with her new BFF, Bells :)
How cute are THEY!?
Eric got in some fun cuddle time :)
And there was just so much to do and so many fun people to see, so Whitney decided that 15 steps wasnt good enough....and she walked ALL NIGHT LONG! She crawled occasionally, but it is definitely safe to say "she is WALKING" and not "she has taken some steps"! :)
Today, we went on a nice walk with Summer and the boys, and did a lot of reading and playing :) Tomorrow: the zoo!
