Unfortunately, she was exhausted...and it showed. Papa did an AWESOME job with gifts, and Whitney turned her sleepy attitude around long enough to play with the cool Belle doll he got her (we all said we wished we had the video camera on when she laid eyes on Belle....she YELLED, "BELLLLLE!!!" and then instantly, "OPEN! Mommy, OPEN!"
Papa was excited about the hose thinga-ma-jig we got him. Hey...dont judge...he asked for it!
Papa also got Whitney something I couldnt WAIT to get outta the packaging....ALPHIE!
This robot is awesome! Whitney was excited to have a robot, and did a pretty good job answering his questions! She thought it was hilarious that Alphie says "ha ha, that tickles!"
And the true hit from Papa this year was the pink piggie tent!
(Ok, so I learned that it is, in fact, a hippo, and NOT a pig....but we are going with pig for now.)

It's huge! Big enough for her to stand up straight, and I can already see her wanting to have sleepovers in there when she's 5, 6, 7 years old! GREAT job, Papa!! THANKS!
Whitney really only naps in the car or in her crib, but I thought maaayyybe today would be the day she would crash land on the floor in the family room. She was THAT tired.
Papa had several more stops to make today, so he was quickly on his way to the next family. We didnt get enough time with him today, but know we'll see him again this week, and we really loved the family time we shared with him last weekend. He is such an awesome Papa. Gary, thanks for always knowing how much Whitney loves and adores you, even when she's acting shy or overtired or just being a toddler. You're the best! She asks about Papa throughout the week or whenever we see a picture of him, and I love that she gets to grow up knowing how much her Papa loves her.
