One year ago today, we were headed to the hospital knowing we had Whitney's birthday party just a few days away. Again, this year, we know we have an even bigger birthday party just a few days away, and we are chasing our toddler, trying to keep up with our almost-four-year-old, and anxiously awaiting the arrivals of my brother, his best friend since third grade, Joey, and our Aunt Ger.
Jay and Joey are flying in from Boston and Aunt Ger is flying in from Cleveland tomorrow. After the last few days Boston has had, we cant wait to get our arms around Jay, who was just one mile from the explosions at the Boston Marathon, and Joey.
In honor of all the lives affected by the bombing, and because we just LOVE the city of Boston, we have been wearing our race jerseys and Boston gear this week!
Ill always get goosebumps when I see pictures of them looking alike.
And making similar expressions on their cute lil faces :)
And Grady is proudly wearing the same onesie his big sister wore the day Uncle Jay arrived for her first birthday back in 2010!
It is significantly tighter on a One-Year-Old Grady than it was on One-Year-Old Whitney :)
On Whitney's first birthday, she had been walking for three months.
And though Grady has only been walking for two or three days, he is determined to RUN into his party on Saturday :)
We cant wait to see you, Jay!!
