"Oh jeesh.The things I will endure for this little girl. I'm not a fan of bath time, but I'll humor her. I must admit....I'm a little scared..."
"....Hey Whitterbug.....it's not gonna hurt, is it??"
"NO WAY, Dogger! No pain at ALL! See? Mommy runs the water and stays with you the WHOLE time! She makes it go by really fast...sometimes TOO fast! Look....see how the water runs outta that things there? Mommy makes sure the water is the PERFECT temperature! See?"
"Now, Bailey...I must say, I can tell you're worried already, but REALLY...this is gonna be FUN! I know, I know...you hate the pool and the bath. But I LOVE them! First let's get over the bath drama, and then we'll work on the pool...kay? See,..the water in here is nice just like the water in the pool!....Oh..wait...don't drink it though, Dude. That's my bath water..."
"Oh, okay...I'll admit it...sometimes I take a few sips, too. It's not bad, right?! But ya can't do that in the pool. Daddy says 'That's yucky!' and makes s scrunchy face when I try that."
"Ok, I'm ready to hop in the tub. You watchin'? I want you to see...it doesnt hurt! Mommy's a good bath-giver! You watchin'? Ok, stay right there."
"Aaaahhhh...sooo relaxing, Bailey!! The water's great! The toys are here waiting for me, right where I left them! And Mommy has that silly sing-songy voice goin' on. It's cute. See? It doesn't hurt!! It's NICE to get squeaky clean!"
"See? I get toys in the tub! Do you get toys in the tub?? Oh. You don't? I'll try to talk to Mommy and Daddy about that. Maybe toys will help you chill out in the tub."
"Now...the one downside to this bath thing is the hair situation. Mommy and Daddy think its sooooo funny to mess with my hair. YOU have WAAAY more hair than I do, so they might have fun 'styling' your hair in funky ways....but it doesnt last long, and the toys help the time go by faster. But again...it doesnt HURT. Just gets old after a while."
"Ok man. We're almost done in here. My body is washed, my hair is clean, and I'm all rinsed off. The water is still warm and I still havent encountered anything painful in here! I just kow you'll like bath time if you give it a chance! See? It's RELAXING! I can just stretch out in here and enjoy the pampering....it's GREAT!...hey...you still there? I can't see you from here. You still listenin' to me, Dogger?"
"Oh...there ya are! Good! I'm glad you stuck around and gave it a chance! See? It's not so bad! Don't I smell GOOOD!??!!!!! You're almost seven years old...I'm not even 4 months old yet. If *I* can do this, *YOU* can do this. Really! It's FUN!! Now Mommy and Daddy wrap me up in a warm towel and carry me to my room. I dont know why you dodge the towel part when you take a bath! I LOVE this part! Sometimes, I giggle a little too much and have to potty before they get a diaper on me. It's only happened two or three times, and I usually get Mommy worse than Daddy....but I'll tell ya Buddy...It's FUNNNY!!! haha...BUT, i dont recommend you trying that. You going potty in the house is definitely NOT a good idea."
"Ok, ya ready to head to my room? Oh, the fun isn't over yet... (YAAAWWWNNN)....yeah..one thing I should mention.....this tubby time fun makes me (yawn) really sleepy....(yawn)"
"Ok, we made it to my room without anyone getting hurt (or wet!) This is where Mommy and Daddy put lotion on me that smells sooooo good! You have a good sniffer...what do you think? Smells good, right? I told ya so!"
"Hey Dogger...I know you're all excited about that lizard on my window, but come here...quick...you gotta see this....!"
"AHAHAH! Look at what Mommy did to my hair! Funny, right? I bet you're hair would look even funnier like this! And, like I said, it doesnt hurt!! They just like bein' silly!"
"Ok, this is really relaxing. I KNOW you like it when Mommy and Daddy brush your hair,...this is great....hey! toes!! A bunch of 'em! Hmmm...lemme try to get those lil guys..."
"Do Mommy and Daddy always comment about how LOOONG your hair is, too? Guess we have that in common, Big Bro! We both have a LOT of hair!! Does Mommy tell you she's gonna put your hair in somethin' called 'pig tails'?? I'm not so sure about that one...."
"Ta Daaaa!!! All brushed and clean! And it didnt hurt once!!"
"Oh! Oh! I almost forgot about this part! THis is one of my favorite parts! This is when Mommy makes stupid,..er...silly faces in the mirror and says silly things over and over....hahaha! I love it when she says 'da da da da' and 'ma ma ma ma ma' over and over and over and over...and the faces she makes CRACK me UP!!!"
"Ok, well, I'm gettin' sleepy now, Dogger. But tell me what you think. Bath time doesnt seem so scary anymore, does it?"
"You wanna sleep on it? Okay. I understand. I'm sleepy too.....we'll work on the pool tomorrow!"

I love the weekly episodes of Bailey and Whitney :) You should do one a week and print them into a little book for Whitney when she is older! I know Steph loves to look at picture books of herself when she was a baby so I am sure Whitney would love one that really told a story!
