Daddy and Whitney Time and some Weekend Cuteness

We just found this table toy for $20! Its normally twice that much, so we figured we would hang onto it until she was old enough to enjoy it. Well....turns out she loves it already :) Lights, noise, two languages? What's not to love!???

"Look Daddy! If I press this button, the lady sings in Spanish!!"



She still hasnt lost any of her hair...I thought she would end up with the "stripe" on the back of her head, but her hair keeps getting thicker and longer and curlier!!

All those bells and whistles make me tired...

The Laugh and Learn Puppy is one of Whitney's favorite toys. :) Babies R Us had a "Buy One Fisher Price toy at regular price, get One Fisher Price toy FREE" deal, so we snatched the Puppy up and got a light-up, make-noise telephone for free. :)


Whitney loves when the puppy sings songs, and she squeals when we do "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" EVERY TIME. :) She is at such a fun age!!





And here are some pics from Friday night. Our neighbor and very close friend was officially sworn in as a Civil Court Circuit judge in our county. Let's face it...it's always nice to know a judge. :) But its especially cool that Mike will now be finalizing adoptions as part of his case load.




Sunday before heading to church (where she slept through 98% of the sermon again!!)

My first attempt at making a pillowcase dress. I chose black since it hides mistakes well :) And I like that I can change the ribbon out to match the occasion...orange for Halloween, gold for UCF game days, animal-print for those fiesty days :)
(Oh, and PS..that giraffe toy is the number one selling children's toy in Europe (allegedly) and Whitney LOVES it! Her name is "Sophie" and she is the BEST teether around! Whitney can hold her up to her mouth and get any leg, rear-end, tail, or ear in her mouth with minimal effort. This toy and her pink bear-blanket from Eric's coworker in Texas are the two "MUST HAVES" in our daily routine. If you can find Sophie on Amazon, and yhou have a teething child in your life, BUY HER! Your baby wont be disappointed....but your dog might be tortured a little....Sophie has a gentle squeak that is slightly more than intriguing to our Baileydog.)

And one of my favorites from last week. She was talking and finding all kinds of new noises on her changing table. :)
