Weekend Update

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN!!!

My mom's sister, my Aunt Gerry, came into town to visit us for Whitney's first Halloween :)

Whitney LOOOVED her! :) (I'm pretty sure the feeling was mutual!)

Late Saturday night, we received a FUN package from our friends Holly and Lilly and Lukas in Canada! Whitney and I were SOOOOO excited to see the AMAZING bows they sent! This pink one is perfect for out little girl! The lil button in the center says "Happily Ever After"!

She also sent us a ladybug bow that is GORGEOUS! I cant wait for W to wear it!!

If the mail had come two hours earlier, we would have been able to wear the ladybug bow with her costume, but this pink one was a BIG HIT the next day when we wore it to spend time with Mac and Aunt Ger (and again when we went to dinner...and again when we stopped by Toys R Us....and again...we got compliments on it everywhere we went!) THANKS HOLLY!!!!!!!!!

Before Aunt Ger headed to the airport, Whitney wanted to make sure she left with some funny memories :)

So she made us laugh with silly noises and lots of jumping jacks on Mac's lap

THis little girl thinks she is soooo funny :) (we do, too!)

She started crashing right before Mac took Aunt Gerry to the airport...

And she wiped out from all the fun and games (and belly laughing!)....

...but we had to sneak in one last pic with Aunt Gerry before she headed back to Cleveland. :(

We also took some time last night to talk to Whitney about her Uncle Jamey who will be coming to visit us next month! Uncle Jamey (my bro) lives in Boston and we cant wait to bring Whitney to visit him someday! We will have to head to a Red Sox game and visit the ducks from "Make Way for Ducklings" (one of our favorite books!)

Trying to forget that the Sox arent in the World Series this year....

AND...

,.....last but not least....another highlight of the weekend popped up this morning! There was no fussing, no crying, no tears, no whining, no drama....no signs of anything brewing. So imagine my surprise this morning when I ran my finger over W's gums and felt a sharp, brand new TOOTH!! A perfect pearly white poppin' through the surface! :) YEAH!!

OK, so you cant really see it very clearly in either picture, but she's still cute enough for extreme close-ups! :)

I have a busy week of catching up on some work hours, but we're hoping for at least one playdate with the twins from nextdoor :) And then W has her BFF, Faith coming over to play and watch football with us this Saturday! :) Work hard, play hard! :)

Im glad that you guys like the bows :) She is super cute and I can't wait to see the ladybug one on her.

Can't believe she got her first tooth. That means she's growing up way too fast and she needs to stop. :) she's adorable.
