Weekend Fun

On Thursday, Whitney had a great time chatting online with her Uncle Jamey! They video-chatted for a while and Whitney was happy to show off "ring around the rosie", some dance moves, and lots of "hi!" :) We cant wait for Uncle Jamey to come visit again soon!

On Friday afternoon, we went to Animal Kingdom for a little bit with Whitney's friends Bells and Bells' big bro Isaac. We got rained on...a LOT...so it was a short visit, but fun to see the girls together since we havent gotten together in MONTHS. :)

Friday night was a lot of fun just hanging out with some of our besties and their kids. Dave and Eric went to high school together, and Dave's wife Dallas is easily one of my very best friends. We've all had our share of drama and ups and downs, but we are the type of friends who will be 90 years old together in some retirement home in south Florida. Hopefully, our kids will come visit us :)

On Saturday, we headed north to celebrate our nephew, Corbyn's 2nd birthday! The theme was Mickey Mouse, so we, of course, had Whitney dress the part :) Our newest faimly member, Corbyn's little sister, Callie, even got in on the Minnie action in her onesie and bow!

And he was nice enough to allow Whitney to play with some of his new toys. She had a strong attraction to the CAT trucks and hat.....hmmm...wonder where she gets that from? :)

We made a pretty decent attempt at Cousins pictures....this was as close as we could get to smiles from everyone. I dont know HOW photographers do it. We will be attempting a more formal, matchy-matchy cousins picture at some point in the future :)

And Eric's sister, Lynzie knows how to throw a kids party! Bounce house! Water table! Pinata! Slip N Slide! Little animals inside ice cubes, just WAITING to be melted to freedom! She rocks! :)

And Eric is working late tonight, so I am trying to keep Whitney up a little later, so she gets to see him a little bit today. She had an extra-long bath and extra books, and I turned on Super Why to keep her occupied while Daddy was rushing home. She climbed up on the couch by herself, put her shades on by herself, and just sat there...patiently watching her show and waiting for Daddy to finally get home :)
