Almost Time to Count our Eggs!

Well, we had a busy day! We went to the doc this morning (yes, on a Sunday!), then church, then Eric's dad's house, then the pharmacy for some last minute pain pills and valium (yum!), and then to Eric's office. We both love days like this when we spend time in the car together, laughing and talking. :)
At the doc's office, we signed alllll the paperwork, got instructions for tomorrow, and did the pre-op blood pressure, etc stuff. The doc said that REALISTICALLY he wants to get 5 eggs. He said that, while I have 11 follicles, only 5 of them are "mature" and my blood work supports that. He said there is a chance that a few more follicles might have caught up by the time he gets in there tomorrow, but he doesnt want to "count them before their hatched" (heehee). I would be THRILLED with 5 eggies. :) He made sure to tell me a few times, "there are five GOOD eggs in there". I asked him if he thought that there might still be a possibility that my eggs are "bad" at this point and he said "no"...very matter of factly. :) SO....I am optimistic!
We have to be there at 6:30am and my retrieval is scheduled for 7am. It should only take about 15 minutes to gather eggs, and then I will have time to wake up, etc. I will be home afterwards and will try to get on here and announce the number of eggs before I fall asleep again. Expect an update before 11am :) THANK YOU for all your thoughts and prayers. Eric and I feel so thankful and blessed to have all of you in our lives.
