Thankful Thursday

One of my friends' status updates was: "I was counting my blessings, but I ran out of fingers and toes!" I thought it was so cute, and so true for me, too. You ever just stop and think for a minute about your life and where you are vs where you've been and vs. where you want to be?
Three times in the last 24 hours, I have had tears in my eyes at the thought of how blessed I am. How far we've come. How wonderful our life is right now. And even though it probably wont always be "perfect" like this, we are strong enough and fortunate enough to have God and the right people surrounding us. I love our life right now, and needed to take a minute to just thank God for all the amazing prayers He has answered. I can not imagine anything that could make me happier right now. Life. Is. GREAT!

After playing with her boyfriends from next door, she was banging on the window...i think she was hoping they'd hear her and come back to play :)

Yesterday, we went outside to enjoy the sun. Whitney dedcided to pick "flowers" (weeds) and chill with Bailey, who was VERY excited to have his sister outside to play. Then she enjoyed a nice snack poolside, while watching TV :) She is livin' the life!
