Unfortunately, I was REALLY, EXCEPTIONALLY BAD at remembering to take pictures this weekend :( Which is really sad because Whitney had SOOO much fun with all of her friends!
On Friday, my friend Kathy was awesome enough to come over to cut and color my hair :) My other friend (who happens to be Kathy's sister) came over to join us and give Whitney some time to hang out with one of her boyfriends, Logan. :) They had a lot of fun, and Whitney ate her 2 year old man under the table at lunch time. It was so fun to catch up with two of my favorite girlfriends, who I get to see sooo rarely lately. :( They really are sooo fun and we always end up laughing :)
Friday night we were invited to dinner with our fun neighbors and friends and their kids. Whitney got to spend some more quality time with ANOTHER boyfriend, Ike, and always loves chillin' with her bestie, Bells :)
Our close friend, Mandi (who also happens to be Eric's cousin) and her fiance also joined us for dinner, and to celebrate the news that they are having a GIRL! Mandi has 3 boys already, and our family is lacking in the baby girl department, so it is WONDERFUL to know that Whitney will have another fun partner in crime this September :)
On Saturday, we decided on a very last minute trip to Disney with some more FUN friends and their son, Connor. At this point, Whitney was really laying on the flirting pretty thick, and she was batting those long eye-lashes behind her pretty sunglasses :) She loves him!
We were planning to catch up with a friend of mine from high school, but Whitney got a little tooooo close to the natural habitat of some ducks we visit at Epcot, and we both ended up smeared with duck poop. PPPEEEEEE---yoooou!! It was gross. So we had to skip out on drinks with Jen, but will surely meet up with her again soon. We headed home with our stinky daughter, who had been nicknamed The Napless Wonder at this point. (Daylight Savings Time + possibly sropping a nap = endless amounts of energy for Whitterbug)
We rode Nemo and enjoyed time laughing, people watching, and walking for miles and miles...and all declared the laid-back day a huge success since we had no time restraints or set plans...and the kids cooperated every step of the way!
Sunday was a rainy, icky day, so Eric ran a few errands while I stayed home with Whitney. Isnt he the best!? Then we headed over to Kaitlyn's birthday party! My little Katie-Bug, who stole my heart when I worked at the day care before W came home, has officially turned TWO YEARS OLD! :( She's a little girl now! No longer a teeny little babycakes....but still the cutest lil thing ever :) She was so friendly and nice to Whitney, and we see lots of Disney-ing and play-dating in the near future, as her parents are pretty fun, too :)
This week should have nicer weather, so we're hoping for some walks, the zoo, the park, and, most importantly some birthday invitations need to get in the mail soon! :)
And because I know you dont come here for my WORDS...i'll give you the good stuff:
Daddy, Bailey, and Whitney enjoyed a fun game of "fetch" in the front yard/street after Daddy got home from work on Friday :) Bailey and Whitney were both VERY happy!
Whitney walks around saying "ball...ball...ball?" and looking for her big red ball, her new big orange ball, or any of Bailey's tennis balls :)
Mommy and Daddy took turns chasing Whitney through Disney :)
Whitney and Connor enjoyed the fish tanks at the end of Nemo :)
Future romance?
Our Lil Rockstar
Leaves they found on the ground = no need to buy souvenirs :)
She was very happy to be sitting near her man :)
Gotta take the same shot each time we visit :) This was Whitney's 10th visit to Magic Kingdom :)
Bonding over ducks....before the Great Poop Incident of 2010
Making friends with another little girl on the way out of the park
Had to drag her out of there!
