Fortunately, I didnt catch the bug until after we enjoyed a fun day at Disney with our nephews. We took Kyle for his 5th birthday (sniff, sniff) SIX years ago...and this was Dean's first time to the Magic Kingdom. The boys were AWESOME, the weather was great, and we all had a great time!
It is Spring Break at their school, so we got to hang out with Kyle and Dean for the day. When they arrived at our house at 7:30am, they didnt know that they would be heading to Disney for the day :)
They got right to work, checking out our mapsof the parks to decide which rides were a must, and they decided that Magic Kingdom was the place to be.
Cousins :)
Arent they handsome?! And they are truly the best behaved kids I know...love them!
Whitney's new favorite trick: "How big is Whitney?" "SOOOOO big!"
Whitney really liked the elephants on the Jungle Cruise
Tea Cup Madness
Uncle Eric had their tea cup spinning the fastest!!
We rode the people mover last...
...and declared the day a success :)
Whitney and I were both feeling yucky in the car on the way home, and it got worse from there. Thankfully, my parents live close enough and are wonderful enough to help us out in times like this. I think they loved the time with Whitney as much as she loved being with them! But I hated not being able to carry/hold/hug/kiss my little girl while she cried for her mommy :(
Thankfully, it appears the bug has left our house in time for some more time with our nephews tomorrow night and Friday. :) The weather here is supposed to be beautiful, so im wondering if they will get the season's first cannonball contest going :) Eric's cousin's three boys are coming over on Friday, too.....5 boys under the age of 12 + Me + Whitney = thank God we have a Wii and a pool :)
