I Suppose I COULD be Biased.....

...but I seriously think we have the cutest, happiest, smartest baby in the world. :) (And it my blog, so i can say whatever i want...so there!)
We have been enjoying this gorgeous weather while trying not to get her pretty baby skin all red and sunburned. We walked early this morning with "Aunt" Summer, and then hung out inside, avoiding the sun during the hottest part of the day.
On a whim, I decided that the shopping cart and play food could NOT wait two more weeks, and HAD to be played with immediately. I really shouldnt buy gifts so far in advance because I just end up giving them to her early! I justified it by saying "She'll have so many new things to play with after her party, let's just see how she likes THESE today!" :)
It appears she likes them a lot! She pushed the food around...then George went for a ride....then a few of her balls got to go for a spin. We sorted the foods by color, and I am pretty sure I saw the first glimpses of Whitney using her imagination :) SOOO fun! She has such a great personality and always wants to share with others (even if "others" means Curious George or Bailey the Dog).
My favorite part of the day (so far!) was when Whitney noticed my new earrings. She pointed to one, so I said "diamond". I could almost see the little light bulb over her heard as she climbed off my lap and raced over to the wall where I recently posted some pictures of shapes. She pointed to the shapes excitedly, as if to say "There is a diamond in there somewhere, Mommy! Im not sure which one it is YET, but I KNOW you've called one of these shapes a diamond before!!" She was sooo excited! :) And of course, I think she is brilliant :) haha
And because I know you dont come here to hear what I have to say.....
She loves her new stroller fan...works great...when she lets go of the fan blades.. :)

Aunt Summer asked for a hug, so Whitney ran to her!! Thats the first time she's done that for anyone other than my parents :) SOOOO cute!!

She's sharing her "tea" with Mickey :) (Those are the shapes on the wall in the background. THey are leftovers from my teaching days and I found them a week or so ago. She has been infatuated with them ever since :))

I caught her sorting through the play food while I made lunch. Im so glad she likes this toy as much as I did when I was little! :)
Sorting foods and balls by color.....she thought it was fun for about 5 seconds. Then she wanted to eat the food again.
