Sunday and Monday Catch-Up

Saturday night was spent uploading pictures in order to stop the emails, texts, and facebook stalkers who were excited to see what fun we had :)

On Sunday, we started the recovery process at home, washing new clothes, putting together new toys, and playing with all the fun gifts Whitney received. Unfortunately, we had to say good-bye to Aunt Ger who headed back to Ohio. :( Our special weekend was made even more special with my Aunt Gerry in town to help us celebrate. I cant thank her enough for all the prayers and support and thoughts and cards and gifts she has showered upon us!

Sunday night we headed to our old town to celebrate Grandma Robin's and Aunt Christina's birthdays, and to spend more time with our huge family.

Eric took Monday off work to spend time with us as a family. Isnt he the BEST daddy!? After a morning spent peacefully at home, we went to Animal Kingdom for a nice afternoon with some wonderful friends, Christine, Matt, and their son Connor. They gave Whitney her first convertible for her birthday, and we were excited to try it out at the parks. After THREE supervisors and an act of Disney Congress, we were allowed in the park with her car. (FYI: Disney parks do not allow wagons...and it took 3 supervisors to determine whether this car was, in fact, a wagon....?)

We went straight to "Nemo, the musical" as soon as we got inside. Whitney started strong, but it was nap time (pesky naps) and she was restless...so we only made it about 20 minutes into the show before we went to meet her boyfriend, Connor, at the gate.
