The doc she saw was in Mexico, and requires that you meet him at a McDonald's holding a sign that says "Meeting Dr. Q". yikes! The treatments dont seem too expensive, and will TOTALLY be worth every cent.

It’s nice to hear from you – though I’m sorry to learn about your low LAD diagnosis. Typically you’ll receive a result for LAD with the following values:
(T-Cells) IgM
(T-Cells) IgG(B-Cells) IgM(B-Cells) IgG
Both your IgG values for T & B should be (at a minimum) over 30 – ideally more than 50. The closer to 100 the better. A small build up of IgM B cells means the blocking antibody building process has tried to start. Each IgM eventually matures into 5 IgG's so with LIT you should be able to boost those IgG B cells up to a normal range.
LAD is typically negative (or low) after recurrent miscarriages or repeated implantation failures. So your low LAD isn’t all that surprising, given your history. What a low LAD level means for pregnancy is that your body’s own immune system is attacking the embryo/fetus because you do NOT have enough blocking antibodies (IgG B) to protect it. The treatment for LAD is very easy – you use your husband’s own blood to create a “vaccine” that boosts your antibody production – and hence, allows an embryo/fetus to survive that initial assault from your body’s immune system. (Thereby allowing implantation to occur, and the fetus to develop safely inside the placenta.)
As far as LIT therapy for your low LAD, I attached a document that will help you tremendously in planning your Nogales, MX trip. The person to coordinate with is Jossie, Dr Quiroga’s assistant (she speaks English). Her e-mail and phone number are in the attached document - but I’ll warn you that she’s not always prompt in her response. All this information is in the attached 'Where to get LIT' document, but you’ll need a number of tests done before you can have LIT. You will need to bring these test results with you to Nogales, MX and they will be reviewed by Dr.Q prior to administering the LIT. These include:

Blood Type (You and your husband’s)
Infectious Disease Screening

HIV 2

Also, you should definitely check out: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/immunologysupport/ for LOADS of information about reproductive immune issues. The 'files' section on this site contains invaluable resources and documents (some of which I've attached to this message for your convenience) about immune related reproductive factors. And there's also a discussion board for patients that include topics such as immune related miscarriage, infertility, IVF failure, pregnancy complications and 'unexplained' pregnancy loss.
Another resource is a book titled, 'Is Your Body Baby Friendly?' by Dr. Alan Beer. The book is coauthored by Jane Reed, who is also the moderator of the Yahoo board. I highly recommend this book (you can purchase it through Amazon), and I think it will provide an invaluable education for you on reproductive immune issues.

PS – Grace is almost nine months, so yes she’s getting big!
The documents she attached are REALLY helpful and full of info. They give sites to see and hotels to stay in, etc. It has to be paid in cash, and there are other sketchy details. I will share the funniest one later. Off to talk Eric's ear off about this!!
