Slackin'

So I have had more than a few emails and texts requesting (ahem, demanding) more pictures and updates. ;) I planned to write about our fun weekend with friends in the pool, but A) it rained and B) I am not feeling well today. My mom came over to feed Whitney this afternoon and Eric is on Daddy-Duty, doing the whole bedtime routine by himself (Like a CHAMP!).
We did have a good weekend, despite the rain. Our Magic (basketball) won, and are leading the Cavs 2-1, much to the chagrin of my ENTIRE family who hail from Cleveland. :) Whitney is showing her Magic pride!

We got to hang out with two of our favorite couples, all in one night! We went to dinner with Summer and Mike (and their almost-here twin boys!) on Friday night. They live right next door, and we cant wait to see our kids grow up together!
(yes, there are TWINS in there!)



Then, after dinner, Eric's BFF from high school, Dave, and his wife and fabulous chick Dallas came over with their cuties, Austin(5) and Faith (4 months). Again, we are excited for Whitney and Faith to grow up together. :) Look how cute they are!!

On Sunday, we went to church where Whitney woke up the second Pastor Brad started talkin'. It was a great message...all about being "worldly" during the week, and "Godly" on Sundays. I got to listen from the hallway :)



And look how big Whitney looks in her crib! I know the angle isnt great, but she looks like a freakin Kindergartener, no??!!

We had a little heart-to-heart before bedtime and Pjs the other night. :) She has started cooing more and more, and it just melts my heart!



Tomorrow we have Whitney's one month doc appointment, and hopefully going to a cute children's boutique that opened near our house recently. This weekend is up in the air, but we are hoping that my college BFF and sorority lil sister will head into town with her hubby and their beautiful little girl. If not this weekend, another one this summer, for sure...right Annie!? And next weekend we have some more good friends coming to visit and meet Miss Whitney! We are verrrry excited to see them and spend time together!

I'm off to kiss our princess goodnight and watch the Magic beat the Cavs...again! :)
