Five Question Friday, and Bible Talk with Whitney

It's that time again! FRIDAY! Click on Mama M's linky above and check out other blogger answers to her 5 Questions :) C'mon...play along....its more fun when LOTS of blogs participate! :)

1. What is the one thing that you reach for the most in a day (excluding phones, computer or children's butts for spankings)?
The TV remote? Or my water bottle? Hmm..if I cant pick computer or Whitney's chubby face for kisses, then I guess I'd say water bottle and/or remote for the TV/DVD player. Wow...that sounds pretty sad!



2. What is the farthest you have been from home?
France. My parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary the same month I graduated from 8th grade and my bro graduated from high school, so they took us on this fabulous trip to England and France. We were at ages where we appareciated it a lot, but the pics are atrocious. WHO let me dress like that!? 8th grade was NOT a good fashion year. At all.



3. What kind of cell phone do you have? Love it or hate it?
Samsung Rant. I hated it at first. I am not good with change, and I loved my Instinct. But now, I looooove my rant. And the name sorta fits me :) She's red and fun. I can check my email or Facebook pretty easily. I wish I could write emails/replies on her, but she is moody about the number of characters I can type at one time. Sprint assures me they are aware of the issue and working on it. pshht.



4. Coke or Pepsi?
I have a new obsession with Coke Zero. NEVER Pepsi.


5. If you could go back and change anything about your wedding day, what would it be and why?
Eric wanted the big shebang. I had already been there and done that, and its not cheap, so we opted for small, fmaily only. I loved the whole day and wouldnt change anything about the events of the day, but I WOULD have hired a professional photographer to get pics of the whole family. We got married in a pretty garden by the beach and it would have been nice to have NICE pics from the day. I'm sorta a picture snob. I take waaaaaaaaay too many.

And now, some Bible talk with Whitney...


Hey Mr. Noah. I'm Whitney. Mommy says she thinks of you whenever we see a rainbow. She also read me a story about you, a big boat, and a LOTTA animals.

She said you got EVERY animal in that boat, two of each. Whisper in my ear, Man. How'd ya do it?

Oh, Hi Mrs. Sarah. Your man Mr. Noah is pretty quiet about how he managed to fit ALLLL those animals on your ark at one time. Mommy says it was God's plan. I believe her, but...i mean...you were there....gimme the inside scoop, Sister. Cuz that boat...err, ark,...whatever...it doesnt look big enough to carry TWO of every animal.

I mean, have you SEEN how big an elephant can be?! Look at those EARS!

And mommy loves her TIGERS, but TWO of them?! Wouldnt they take up a lotta room and cause drama with the Gamecocks, err..roosters? After last weekend's football game, I think mommy would like those tigers to whoop some turtle(terrapin) butt.

Zebras? I dont know how you did it, Mr. Noah, but I am sure glad you got two of these on that boat. I really like the zebras a lot :) I hear my friend Brooklyn likes them a lot, too. So thanks for that.

Lions, too!!? I like this lion's fuzzy main...it tickles! I just cant figure out HOW you got them ALL on the boat..ark..whatever..at once! Good job, my friend.

Hey, is this the bird that flew out and found land after 40 days? Oh..no..wait..that wasnt a toucan. That was a dove. This guy's cool too though.

Alright now Mr. Noah...I can tell you're not spillin' your secret, but GIRAFFES!? TWO of them!? Thanks for these guys, too. My Sophie is a giraffe and I LOVE her! Speaking of Sophie....and teething.....I think I know how you got all those animals on that ark at one time, Mr. Noah!

It must have been TEETHING TABLETS!! Mommy says they are "a miracle", so that must be how you got all these animals to chill out, stop fussing, and enjoy the ride! I knew it! :) (OR, it coulda been a God Thing :))

Now that I have THAT miracle mystery figured out, I think I'll take some time to relax by the pool and look for more rainbows. :)

And mommy insisted on throwing this one in because she thinks its cute :)
