Weekend Update

We had such a GREAT weekend! Friday night we went to our friends Kathy and Jimmy's house so Kathy could do my hair (aaahhh...relaxing), and the guys could talk tools and football and politics. ALWAYS a good time at their house, and Whitney loooves watching their girls play and dance :)
Saturday morning, Whitney put on her purple in honor of our Clemson Tigers, in hopes that it would inspire a WIN this week. Thankfully, the Tigers had a great victory and we were able to celebrate with a walk around the block :)

Saturday afternoon, some of our bestest friends came over. The guys headed to cheer for the UCF Knights against Miami (ouch!) while the girls stayed home and ate and played with the kids. :)
Whitney can be found blowing raspberries almost allll day now :)

Whitney and Faith...BFFs :) They are exactly 3 months apart and Faith is already teaching Whitney everything she knows ;)

Aunt Dallas played with the girls before they both crashed for naps for HOURS.

Whitney LOVED listening to Austin read to her!

She thinks he is sooo cool :)

Ya ever bring a 5 month old to a pumpkin patch? During nap time? yeah. Well. That's what we decided to do on Sunday afternoon. In the wind.
Mac came with us since we figured two cameras was better than one! She wasnt unhappy, but she was SLEEEEPY. I think we made every animal sound in the book just to try to get her to smile ONCE! And if she was smiling, she was staring off into the field of pumpkins, instead of at the camera! Here she is looking at Mac thinking "these two fools need to understand that I am TIRED and dont feel like SMILIN' right this minute!"

Here we are trying to get Whitney to smile. She was so sleepy but trying to stay awake long enough to stare at all the orange.

We got a few cute ones of our Pumpkin :)

And then we tried to get pics with her...first, Daddy posed while Mac and I tried to get her attention and make her smile....

Success!

Then it was Daddy's turn to sing silly songs and wave his arms like a weirdo. :)

Then we attempted family pics....

It was worth a shot! :)
We have a really busy week ahead of us! Whitney will be 6 months on Wednesday...SIX MONTHS!? And then we have Eric's bro's wedding this weekend. LOTS of festivities and fun with the family! We are soo blessed and grateful to have such wonderful family and friends! Hope you all had a great weekend, too, and are excited to get your week started! :)
