Weekend Update

PHEW! We had a BUSY weekend! On Friday, Whitney and I stopped by my mom and dad's house to visit with them and my Gramps. Whitney had fun playing with two of her favorite guys :)

Late Friday night, Eric's parents got here from Pensacola. Eric's bros came over with their families, and Whitney got a chance to hang out with her cousin Caroline. The girls smiled and stared at each other for a little bit, and Caroline is crawling all over, so Whitney had fun watching her and taking it all in. :)

After the bow retreival...

...and some attempts at hugs and kisses...

..the girls got down to the very serious business of entertaining the adults. :)
Papa Butch had fun laughing and playing with Whitney :)

The girls spent some time in the exersaucer and jumper, smiling at each other and showing off their moves :)

And the big girls enjoyed some conversation and wine by the pool (and Bailey, too!)

On Sunday, we all went to church and then to a yummmmmmy Mexican restaurant for lunch. We drove out to Daniel and Crystal's new house, and then came back to our house again for some more family fun and romper-room for the girls :)

Whitney LOVES her Aunt Melissa!

And Uncle Eric was like the Pied Piper! Caroline was making sure Whitney knew that he was HER daddy... :)

Grandma Debbie spent a lot of the day on the floor with the girls and/or Bailey :)

Grandaddy came over to hang out with his great granddaughters, too! LOOOVE HIM!

Whitney thought he was the coolest :)

Aunt Melissa got some good cuddles from the Whitterbug :) Not sure who enjoyed it more!

And it wasnt long before Whitney was learning all kinds of new tricks from her cousin, Caroline! (I could NOT get her up on all-fours...until she saw Caroline do it!)

Look at that form! :) Caroline is super speedy, but Whitney was too excited and giggling too hard to even attempt to actually MOVE. :)

Wont be long before she is on the move, too!

And this morning, Whitney woke up just in time to give a few more smiles and kisses before Grandma Debbie and Papa Butch had to head back to Pensacola. :)

It was a GREAT weekend filled with family, food, fun, smiles, and a gazillion pictures :) We'll all be getting together again for Thanksgiving, and we just cant imagine how the girls will grow in the short 6 weeks til Turkey Day! Its so fun watching them play and interact. :)
Hope everyone had a fun-filled weekend!

Whitney is just way too precious! I have a great feeling that she's going to be an early walker too.
