A Fun Weekend

We didnt do anything super, duper exciting, but had a good ol fashioned American weekend :) Watched some football (my poor, poor Tigers), did some Christmas shopping (everyone is checked off our list except my brother who has EVERYTHING), and went to see our nephew play the drums in his town's Christmas parade. All in all, a great weekend with no deadlines or rushing around town, spent with my two favorite people on the planet.
Whitney is getting more and more fun every day. She loves to sit in her high chair and babble (scream!) as long and as loud as she can. She laughs at herself and has this cute little chuckle that always makes us smile. She is fearless, crawling all over everything and even standing on her own for a few seconds at a time.
I followed her around with the camera this morning while we were getting ready to head out for some shopping. She is so busy! Racing from the window to the toys to the books to Bailey...again and again and again.
It is exhausting just watching her, and I am so thankful that I dont have to miss one minute with her smiling face. :)
The reason I decided to grab my camera....this is what I found when the playroom was eerily quiet when I was folding laundry.

Before Mommy got her act together and got her out of her jammies for the day:

Look, Ma! No hands!!

CHEEEEEEESE!!!!

Chasing Bailey :) (again)

She stopped long enough to study some of her favorite books :)She was kicking her lil feet in the air like a big girl :(

And her new favorite obsession: the "Whitney" blocks Aunt Ger sent her. She loves looking at them, banging them together, chewing on them, etc. Thanks again, Aunt Gerry!
