Some Highlights from the Week

After her morning nap, Whitney and I headed over to Mac's house for some time at the park in her neighborhood. On our walk to the park, we passed Gramps in his golf cart, so he road over to the swings, too. :)
Whitney is getting more teeth (i think on the top?), so she spent a lot of time rubbing her gums with her tongue instead of smiling, but Gramps and Mac sure can make her giggle!!







After a quick stop to send off the stack of Christmas cards, we headed home for Whitney's afternoon nap. When she woke up, we watched her favorite DVD. Leap Frog's Letter Factory is a definite favorite in our house. Whitney will sit still, just like this, through the whole dvd. :) She loooves it!


And then, after a long day of playing and learning and crawling and babbling and reading and eating and other baby stuff...Whitney crashed in her jumper. Its only the second time its happened, and I was torn between feeling sorry for her, or running for the camera. Of course, i snapped a pic (or 2) before scooping her up, cuddling her for a bit, and then laying her in her crib. She is sooo active and busy these days, and I walked away from the playroom for less than 2 minutes. She must have been REALLLLLY tired :) Being a Whitterbug is hard work!


Last night we went to our nephew's Christmas band concert. Kyle did a great job, and had a few big roles to perform! We are so proud! Whitney got in some good cuddle time with her Nanny and her Papa. :)


We have a pretty low-key weekend planned, which is PERFECT since my brother is coming from Boston next week! Mac is gonna make Thanksgiving dinner (yummm!) and we're gonna go to Disney and we have fun dinner plans every night :) I got Whitney the BEST dress and matching bow for our Disney adventures....you will definitely want to see next week's pics! :) (Oh, and I'll try to get a good video of Whitney saying "Mama" and "Dada"...and maybe you can help us decide if she really does say "Minnie" :) Have a great weekend!!
