Great Times, Great Friends!

Eric and I were so excited to have the Lees come visit us this week! Although they brought their midwest COLD with them, we all had a great time!
Whitney LOVED hanging out with the big girls, Alivia and Addison!

Addie would have followed Whitney to the ends of the earth if we let her :) Both girls were SOOOO great with Whitney!

This was the scene on more than one night of their visit. Boys on the computers, girls talking and laughing. Then, swap roles. :)

And of course, Bailey couldnt resist an opportunity for some cuddles after all the little girls were in bed :)

On Thursday we headed to Disney to meet up with another mommy board friend, Alison and her son Charlie. First stop: meet the characters!
Whitney wanted to walk to each character, but would stop and dig her heels into the ground about 4 feet from each one. :) She's still not entirely convinced they wont bite her, but she is definitely intrigued.

After riding Nemo and meeting the characters at EPCOT, we headed to Hollywood Studios for some Playhouse Disney and Ariel shows. We left our camera in the stroller outside :(
After Hollywood Studios, we went to Magic Kingdom for the 3pm parade.

Whitney enjoyed scaling the fence while we waited...

After the parade cleared we headed to Pirates of the Caribbean (Charlie's ONLY request for the day...such a trooper! He hung out with all the girls all day and didnt complain ONCE! LOVE him :))
Whitney slept through Pirates but Alivia declared it her favorite ride! Addie didnt love the steep drop, but said it was "okay".

After riding Pirates and some quick shopping and picture taking, Alison and Charlie had to hit the road. We had sooo much fun hanging out with them and will definitely meet up again in the future!
Brittani, Jas, Alivia, Addison, and I rode the tea cups ("FASTER Daddy! FASTERRRR!" yelled Alivia.") while Eric and Whitney got some popcorn (yumm!) Then we quickly took some pics in the usual spot, and did some shopping for the girls. (shocker).

That night, all the girls slept like rocks and prepared for another fun (but chillllly) day of adventure.
Jas had one request. He wanted to see some gators. We spotted a teeny one from the monorail on the banks of the water outside the Magic Kingdom, but Eric wanted him to see some REAL gators, so we headed to a restuarant in a nearby town. It sits on the most heavily gator-populated lake in the state of Florida. We didnt see any in the water, but they have several in cages/pens on property. One was almost 10 feet!
Alivia and Addison CHOWED DOWN on some gator tail :)

They both LOVED it and probably could have tackled another basket on their own!

Brittani got a gator sandwich that was HUGE!

Then some quick gator pics for the girls (not sure why this one is messed up :()

And this girl is ready for her new BFFs to come back and play SOON!

HATE that they live so far away, but hopeful they will come back to visit us often!

I cant believe I didnt take more pictures. I think we were too busy laughing and having so much fun!! I just want to make a public declaration of how WONDERFUL our hubbies were this week. "Every house needs a Jas!" was a common sentiment, and Eric was WONDERFULLY helpful and funny as well. They cooked for us, cleaned up, waited for us while we sat on our laptops checking facebook and the boards, listened to us talk endlessly, gave all the girls baths, did I mention they cooked for us? We are so blessed with two of the best husbands girls could ask for. :) And our girls are lucky to have such amazing Daddies!
I am sad to say we didnt get a pic of alllll of us together, even though we all mentioned it, suggested it, and planned for it on several occasions. :( That just means the Lees have to come back to visit SOON! :)
