Hot Mama Tuesday Topics

The first of (hopefully!) many more Hot Mama Tuesdays to follow!!

This week's topic:
If you had $50,000, no strings attached, how would you spend it?

Even though I came up with the question, I'm struggling to answer! My first reaction is the say "adopt again!!" but Whitney is still sooo young and we really want to enjoy every minute with her before we add another baby to the mix. We DO want to adopt again eventually (we think....today....for now? maybe?) but this "Free $50k" would likely be better spent elsewhere.
Assuming we're not allowed to invest or donate or pay stuff off, and assuming we HAVE to spend every penny on ourselves (wow...that's actually hard to do!), I would likely invest in some more bows for The W. :) LOL

Sorta.

I think I would get myself some golf lessons so I could learn how to play well enough to join Eric on the golf course. My mom and dad golf together with their friends, and always have so much fun. I am more of a tennis fan, but would like to wnjoy golf as much as Eric does so we could spend more time together.

I would buy a NICE, GOOD camera. I love taking pictures of Whitney and Bailey, but I took ONE picture with my friend Summer's new, fancy Nikon, and I WANT one! I would only use it to take pics of our own family or my friends' families, so I cant justify the expense now. .... But if I had $50,000 sitting around.... :)

I'm sitting here looking at Bailey with his new style, and loving the fact that our house is relatively fur-free since he got his new do. So I might set money aside to get Bailey groomed every month. Right now, its not something we can do regularly, but now that we know what a difference it makes, we would probably use "extra" money for Bailey's hairdresser :)

With the money that is leftover, I would put it all towards a big trip. Ive been to France and England, Canada, Domincan Republic, Bahamas, St. Thomas, Antigua, Puerto Rico, and most of the States I'd be interesting in seeing. Eric's been to Singapore and Mexico, and took some wild road trips in college. So we have done a LITTLE traveling, but I'd love to see Greece and Italy and Spain. And I'd like to briefly visit Paris with Eric (so romantical :)), and I'd probably like to swing by Belgium to visit with some of our besties (wink, wink), and then Scotland and Ireland to see "the Home Land" haha. I also know Eric really wants to do the Grand Canyon/National Park road trip when Whitney is old enough, and I am looking forward to a Washington DC and Boston road trip when W's about 10.

So, Im not very exciting...no mind-boggling ways to throw away my "free" fifty grand, but without the options to invest, donate, or pay stuf off,...this was all I could come up with! :)

Off to go read what other ways my Hot Mamas could find to spend their $50k!
