Just Another Walk in the Park

The cold has finally lifted from the area, so Whitney and I were able to get out of the house and escape the grips of cabin fever yesterday. We headed to one of our favorite spots, the park near Mac's house. Bailey came with us and was thrilled to go on a walk, too. Whitney still loves the swings, but wanted to spend most of the time "walking" around, grabbing the wood chips and letting them trickle through her little fingers :) SOO cute!

After the park, we walked back to Mac's house and met up with Gramps!
Whitney was getting sleepy and grabbed some cuddle time with her Mac. Im pretty sure Mac teared up a lil bit :) What a SNUGGLE!!!

She kept popping her head up to smile for the camera :)

And then cuddle up again...

...and then popping up again....It was a fun game :)

Whitney gets sooo excited when Gramps walks in the room :) She perked up from her sleepiness and we attempted some pics of Mac and Gramps with their favorite little girl.

Whitney noticed her own reflection in their glass dining room table. She dove towards the pretty girl staring back at her :)

Gramps made the only logical next move:
He dove UNDER the dining room table and stared back at Whitney.

She thought it was pretty neat (Bailey was VERY confused at all the laughing, and why the heck was Gramps on the floor, UNDER the table!?)

They blew kisses back and forth for a while as Mom, Dad, and I laughed hysterically.

Whitney is just so fun to be around, keeping us laughing and smiling all day. :)

Last night, Whitney wanted to show off her climbing skills over and over...and over...

We are SO blessed to have this little girl in our lives every day. I am so thrilled that I get to watch her grow up and learn new things every day. Her new babbles have turned into longer and longer "conversations" throughout our day, and we usually both end up laughing. She's still such a HAPPY baby, even while trying to get back into the swing of our routine after several crazy, hectic weeks. She is so easy-going and laid back. Im loving every minute of being her mommy. :)
