I am sick. Sicker than I have been in a long time. My ears are infected, my lungs are icky, and my body aches from head to toe. blah. Ok, whining over.

Got this email this afternoon.

Eric & Kathleen,

T called today and said that as she was getting rolled into surgery
she changed her mind. She didn't want to undergo the procedure while
being pregnant. They have released her and she is now at home hoping to
pass the kidney stone on her own. Would you like to go ahead with the
meeting on Monday or reschedule? Her status remains the same ...some
red flags but continuing to vocalize intent to place. Let me know your
thoughts.

Eric and I are taking the weekend to think about it, consider the options (do we really have any?)and will let them know on Monday. I know we will be meeting again. That is not the question. Its just a matter of how T is feeling and how I am feeling. I would go to that meeting with pneumonia AND the flu if I thought it would help. But I dont know how nice it is to breathe on a pregnant woman who already isnt feeling too hot. If T is up for a meeting on Monday, then we will make it happen. This was just another loop we didnt see coming on this rollercoaster ride.
I am sure docs wouldnt allow T to leave the hospital if it put her health or the baby's health in danger. I just wish she wasnt in so much pain. :(

OK, I am going back to bed while Eric finishes up the primer coats on the nursery walls. He is truly amazing.
