Unexpected Updated

E, the social worker from our agency who did our home study back in August, called this evening. Of course, I sat panic-stricken while Eric said "uhhuh...ok...ok....right....sure..........ok........uhhuh.....good.....wow!... ok...sounds good.....great. thanks!"
I asked for a "thumbs up or thumbs down" about half way through the convo, and was assured with a thumbs UP! :)
E was just calling to let us know that we are definitely on for tomorrow's meeting. YEAH! She said that T is "excited and looking forward to it", and that T kept in good contact with the agency all week (apparently something they didnt exepct from her). They said they are "feeling as good as we have" about the potential for placement, and that there are no more red flags. We are assuming that the same red flags might apply, but the fact that there are no NEW issues popping up is very reassuring this close to the BIG day.

So, tomorrow we do dinner. Then, a week from tomorrow, a precious little girl will be welcomed into the world by lots of people who love her already!!

I will try to get pictures of her nursery up as soooooon as its officially "done". We have to finish painting, do the stencil (sooo exciting!), put the furniture back, and put the cornace board above her window again. So...lots to get done, along with sterilizing bottles, binkies, etc., washing clothes (not too many, i know, i know), and getting the video camera all charged up! :)

It is officially EXCITING again!! :)
